How-to
Upload Greetings to Business VoIP Systems
Business VoIP systems accept uploaded audio files — no phone-mic recording needed. Our downloads include the safe universal format: 8 kHz mono 16-bit WAV.
- RingCentral: Admin Portal → Phone System → Auto-Receptionist (or a user's Call Handling) → Greeting → Custom → Upload. WAV/MP3 accepted.
- Grasshopper: Settings → Greetings → choose Main/Voicemail greeting → Upload a file (MP3/WAV).
- Nextiva: Admin → Auto Attendant → Greeting → Upload; 8 kHz WAV recommended.
- Ooma Office: Manager → Virtual Receptionist → Upload audio.
- Traditional PBX / Asterisk: use the 8 kHz WAV — it's the native telephony format and avoids on-the-fly transcoding artifacts.
Generate your greeting below, download the phone-system WAV, and upload — the whole cycle takes about two minutes.
